SSC Stenographer Grade C&D exam 2015
All intermediate pass candidates can fill application form for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ vacancy. The Examination will comprise of a Written Objective Type Examination followed by Skill Test in Stenography

 Tentative vacancies for Stenographer Grade’D’:1014(UR-642,SC-113,ST-61, OBC-198)Vacancies of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ are in Ministries/Departments of Central Government, located mostly in Delhi.
Vacancies of Stenographer Grade ‘D’ are for Ministries/Departments of Central Government  including Attached/Subordinate offices located in States and Union Territories all over country.

Reserved category candidates will also get benefit of the reservation.
Joining posting place : Grade C Stenographer will be appointed in Ministries/Departments of Central Government, located mostly in Delhi. And stenographer Grade D will be appointed in Ministries/Departments of Central Government including Attached/Subordinate offices located in States and Union Territories all over the country.
Eligibility criteria:
Age Limit: Minimum 18 year and maximum 27 year as on 1 August 2015. Reserved category candidates will also get relaxation in age limit.
Education Qualification: Intermediate Pass / class 12th pass or appearing candidate can fill application form for Stenographer. every year many lakh 10+2 qualified candidate are appearing in stenographer recruitment.
Selection Procedure: selection of the eligible candidates will be done through a national level open competitive written examination. SSC steno written examination will be held on 27 December 2015  . all those candidates who will be declared qualified in the written examination they will be call for Skill Test / Typing Test and stenography Test . selected candidate will be appointed as a Stenographer Grade „C‟ ( Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted ) in Pay Band 2 plus Grade Pay as admissible and Stenographer Grade „D‟ (Group ‘C’ Non-Technical) in Pay Band 1.
All candidates who are called for appearing at the Skill Test will be required to produce the relevant Certificate in Original such as Mark sheets, Provisional Certificate, etc.
